Staff and volunteers at Community Home Care (CHC) have a genuine interest in the welfare of our clients as they live in the same local communities as the people they support every day.

Staff receive regular training to ensure that they can deliver the highest standard of service and
achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

They really get to know and understand you. Our team go above and beyond to find ways to support you at home and keep you connected in your community by supporting your participation in the things that matter most to you.


Our volunteers are the heart and soul of Community Home Care.

Over three decades ago, a group of volunteers started CHC and it is our volunteers who remain our heart and soul.

We are very fortunate to have the support of a dedicated team of volunteers who assist us daily.

They help with many activities including transport, outings, telephone support and administration.

Our volunteers not only make a positive difference to our clients but also to our wider CHC family.

We enjoy a strong sense of family throughout our organisation which comes from the strong
relationships we foster with our staff, volunteers, clients and their families.

All staff and volunteers undergo an extensive employment process including, professional reference checks and criminal record screening.
