Our Board of Management is led by Chairperson Mr Angelo Logiudice and comprises of local members of the community together with a client representative. Board Members come from a variety of different backgrounds and contribute their valuable knowledge and experience to ensure the effective management of Belong at Home.

Executive Team


Krystal Laurentsch

Chief Executive Officer

Krystal joined the Belong at Home team in 2021.

A Registered Nurse (Bachelor of Nursing) with post graduate qualifications in Health Management, Clinical Governance and Public Health, Krystal has been working in aged care since 1996. An experienced CEO and health care executive, Krystal is passionate about client choice, excellence in client outcomes and workforce transformation.

Growing up in Busselton, Krystal knows the South West well. Krystal and her husband have 5 children- 2 basketball and school focused teens still live at home. Their 3 older sons and their respective partners live across Busselton and Bunbury with their growing families.

Suran de Alwis

Executive Manager Finance

Suran joined the Belong at Home team in February 2023. An MBA qualified CPA accountant of more than two decades of Executive Finance experience, Belong at Home is Suran’s first opportunity to work in the aged care sector. 

Suran is highly enthusiastic about prudent financial management, continuous improvement,  accountability and stakeholder management including the quality of care delivered to our valued clients.

On his spare time, Suran enjoys sports (cricket and badminton) and discovering hidden vineyards in the South West where he lives with his wife.

Julie Cooper

Operations Manager

Prior to her current role, Julie was the Executive Officer of BESS in Busselton and Margaret River and has extensive and valuable experience in the Aged and Community Care sector.

Julie’s role at Belong at Home is to ensure we provide the highest possible standard of quality care and support services to our clients at all our locations throughout Western Australia’s South West.


Jemma Rowley

Clinical Care Manager

Jemma joined the Belong at Home team in 2023.

A Registered Nurse with extensive clinical and management experience in the aged care and primary health sectors, Jemma is passionate about person-centered care within a safe and supportive environment. She also loves crocheting, cooking and spending time with her young family.


Sheree Jones

People & Culture Manager

Sheree joined the Belong at Home team in August 2021.

Sheree has been involved in HR for many years, managing large groups of staff in several senior management roles. Experienced in recruitment and selection, on boarding, performance management, coaching and mentoring, Sheree is passionate about developing and building a positive workplace culture. Sheree holds an Advanced Diploma in Management and a Diploma of Human Resources.

Mel Smith

Quality Manager

Mel joined Belong at Home in October 2020 as a Scheduler at our Bunbury Site. Having a strong administration background, a keen interest in the Aged Care Industry as well as the processes and Quality Standards surrounding the day to day running of our Organisation, Mel embraced the opportunity of becoming the Quality Manager in September 2022.

Having grown up in Bunbury, Mel is very familiar with the local area. Living in Eaton with her husband and our precious English Staffy Koda, they love spending weekends exploring the beautiful South West, scuba diving and camping or pottering in their garden.
